They are now blaming the actions on an "overenthusiastic intern" who is "He is no longer associated" with the company.<br><br>most likely meaning they hired a student, provided no training, then fired them based on a mistake (albeit one common decency should have prevented)<br><br>What gets me though, while they have apologised, they have not really admitted responsibility for their actions and failure in process.
