Strathclyde Police Authority is an independent public body made up entirely of locally elected councillors. Together with Scotland’s Justice Secretary and Strathclyde’s Chief Constable, they are responsible for the management of policing in Strathclyde.
In 2008, the Board acknowledged that its profile among target audiences, including the public and policing partners, was relatively unknown. As a public body, the police board has a legal duty to be open and transparent. By re-branding, it aims to present a clearer, more defined image of Strathclyde Police Authority.
Following the aims of the Authority to become more transparent 360innovate designed and developed a new brand image for the Authority. Development of a new corporate website, logo and branding guidelines helps to project a clearer and more defined image of the Authority whilst also making them more accessible to stakeholders.
We are very pleased with our new logo and website. 360innovate have created a stronger and more focused identity for the Police Authority that has been enhanced by a well-designed and easy-to-use website. The feedback we have received from both our partners and the public has been excellent.
